Koi Varieties

Doitsu Hariwake       Doitsu Ochiba      Doitsu Gromo       Doitsu Kujaku    

A doitsu koi can be totally scales or have a row of scales down the dorsal and along the lateral line
Many varieties such as Showa are simply know as "Doitsu Showa"
Other varieties are given an individual name such as Shusui and Kumonryu.
