Thank you to Wayne Orchard and Susan Boland for sending in your pond pictures!  The first photo was taken during the summer, and the second photo was taken on February 6, 2010.  Wayne and Susan live in Virginia, which has been hard hit by two blizzards over the past five days.  In the winter picture you’ll see that the pond has an aluminum & lexan cover and it’s under a blanket of 20 inches of fresh snow.
